Thank you for your email. Please be sure to read this entire message as it is 
very important and it pertains to your child/players. 

It is your responsibility to know the roster rules. It is also your 
responsibility to check your roster to confirm all changes have been made 
correctly.

Roster changes are not made until Thursday and depending on how many (sometimes 
over 400) may not get completed until Friday. Changes are done on a first come 
first serve basis. If you have not sent your request in by 8am Thursday morning 
it is likely it won't be made until next Thursday.

Below is the actual rule regarding the procedure to have a player removed from a 
roster. You need to read it and follow the proper procedure in order to get the 
change made in a timely manner.

ONLY THE TEAM MANAGER CAN HAVE A PLAYER ADDED TO A ROSTER - NOT PARENTS!!

A PARENT ASKING TO HAVE THEIR CHILD RELEASED MUST COPY THE TEAM MANGER ON THE 
EMAIL TO OUR OFFICE.
 
F11.01 Information required for a roster change.

A). To Release a player - We need the team name and age along with player's 
first and last name for release (from releasing team)

B). To Add a Player (TEAM MANAGER IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN DO THIS) - Team 
name and age group along with player's first and last name as it is on the birth 
certificate along with date of birth.

C). It is important you do not wait until the last minute to handle your roster 
business. Additionally, if a coach will not release a player, the PARENT will 
need to send an email to our office coping the former coach asking for a 
release.

D). Coaches cannot refuse to release a player, we simply feel it is a courtesy 
to notify you. Players are not team/coach property

F12.00 Any manager and/or player NOT in compliance with the USSSA Player Rules 
& Florida Supplemental Rules will be subject to suspension. Ignorance is not an 
excuse.

If you have not followed the proper procedure please do so now so we may get 
your request completed in time.
