Andre Martinez as a member of the FPBL Elite Squad in '08

Nick Basto goes in the 5th round to the Chicago White Sox while his High School teammate Andre Martinez goes in the 6th round to the Minnesota Twins .

As former FPBL players Nick played for the SF Renegades and Andre played for the Miramar Canes and West Pines Cobras. Martinez was a member of the of the 2008 14u FPBL Elite Squad Team that won the USA Invitational Tournament in Ft. Meyers and received an Invitation to the USA National Team which won the Gold Medal that year.
