The Pokers 12U battle back in their first regular season game as a new team to win 9-8. Down 8-3 in the top of the 5th, with only 24 minutes left to play, the Poker staged a rally, and scored 6 runs on 5 hits in the 5th, then held off the Miami Xtreme Baseball School in the last of the 5th, to win 9-8. Jonathan Blank came on to pitch the last 2 inn for the win. Trace Nichols was the hitting star, going 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's in leading the Pokers on road. 9 of 11 players had hits for the Pokers, who held a 2-0 lead, before going down 8-3 in the game. The Parkland Pokers have their home opener next Sunday.
