MOSTEEL lost 7-5 in four innings at H.A.A. on Saturday, despite outhitting BENGALS eight to six.
CHRISTOPHER MENDEZ had a hot bat for MOSTEEL. MENDEZ went 2-2 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and fourth innings.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as BENGALS scored three runs on a groundout by Kevin and a two-run single by Joe.
MOSTEEL posted one run in each of the first, Third and fourth. In the first, MOSTEEL scored on a wild pitch, bringing home MICHAEL PAEZ.
BENGALS added three more runs in the top of the second. A clutch hit into a fielder's choice scored Mike to open the scoring in the frame.
Two runs in the bottom of the second helped MOSTEEL close its deficit to 6-3. A two-run error triggered MOSTEEL's comeback. The MOSTEEL threat came to an end when Nick finally got JAVIER RODILL to ground out.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, MOSTEEL faced just a 7-5 deficit. An RBI single by JOSE GONZALEZ sparked MOSTEEL's rally. Justin got the last out, as MOSTEEL's PAEZ grounded out.
