West Pembroke Pines Optimist Cobras 9U and Jr. Miami Elite volleyed the lead seven times on Sunday, but the Cobras  came out on top for a 8-5 win  at Flagami-fall classic. The Cobras  took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. The Cobras scored on an RBI single by Eddie Novoa off Rodriguez, bringing home Brandon Barcenas.  Brady Custer racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Cobras . The top of the first saw The Cobras take an early lead, 1-0 but the  Elite scored two runs of its own in the fifth. The Elite scored on a fielder's choice and an RBI single by Rodriguez. The Cobras finally went up for good in the sixth scoring four total runs, which came home on a passed ball and an RBI single by Jordan Cabrera.

The Cobras battled all weekend to finally put a great Sunday together and win  against 2 of the better teams in the division and be crowned CHAMPIONS.
