South Florida Stealth 9U Wins South Super Regional TbS in Miami


Coral Springs, FL. The South Florida Stealth 9U boys flew under the radar and entered the South Super Regional TbS tournament as unranked. The first game they knocked out the 7th ranked Tampa Tribe 15-5. In the second seeding game they beat the 30th ranked Junior Prospects 12-0. They qualified as the 3rdseed and faced off against the Miami Outlaws on Sunday morning. The Stealth jumped out to a 5-2 lead but the Outlaws battled back to tie it in the top of the 6th inning. In the bottom of the 7th the Stealth loaded up the bases and ended the game with a walk off. In the Semi-Finals they faced the 9th ranked Central Florida Lugnuts. The Stealth jumped on the Lugnuts early and won the game 13-5. In the championship game they played the undefeated 16th ranked Team Avalanche. The Avalanche came out strong and took a 3-1 lead into the 4th inning. The bats caught fire and the Stealth boys answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th to take the lead and they did not look back after that. They won the first TbS Super Regional 11-3 over a well-coached Avalanche team. Congratulations to the South Florida Stealth 9U boys and to the Stealth Organization.
