What a difference a year makes. Coach Donnie Frank recalls having to drive up to Mississippi on Friday and playing their two pool games on Saturday, winning it all on Sunday and having the kids back in school on Monday.

This year they conquer the Super NIT berth closer to home with a solid team performance.

It started with two blow out games in pool play against Team Velocity and Big Diamond and those two wins earned them the # 1 seed in Pool B

The team played solid defense all weekend long says Coach Frank, we allowed a total of 7 runs in the entire Tournament "Our pitching & defense was the key to our success" We had a terrific game from our pitchers Gavin Scott and Jacob Lowewski. Jacob closed the game with 2 phenomenal shutout Innings against the powerhouse Team MVP and Devon went 4 strong Innings allowing just a home run to give the Florida Piranaz a solid 3-1 win and a berth to the elusive USSSA Eliete World Series.
