The Weston Red Hawks 12 U baseball team came from behind all weekend long to capture a spot in the finals of the Naples AA/AAA NIT this past weekend. The team overcame a three run deficit against Miami Mayhem in the bottom of the 6th to win the game in dramatic walk off fashion. Harold Baez, hit a three run Homerun to win it 6-4. The Red Hawk boys played their best ball of the season. They did it every inning of every game of this tournament. At the end it was the rain that ended the Red Hawks magical weekend when the sky opened up and force the cancellation of a much awaited Championship game. Congratulations to all the teams in the tournament especially the Canes Academy for the tournament win.
