Ft Lauderdale, FL. The boys from the South......no offense, they are just young and good ! Playing in the Varsity Division, these Incoming Freshman and Sophomores took it to the older players from TAP as they scored early. The Rays scored 6 runs in the first Inning, but where held in check after the first Inning and only managed to score one more run the rest of the way. Pitcher Alex Aponte a Sophomore from Pace HS  pitched 5 strong Innings and allowed just 3 runs. The Rays held  a late rally by TAP in the last Inning as the rain started to come down. TAP managed to scored one more run and had the tying runs on first and third but with two outs a grounder to third put out the fire and would give the Miami Rays their League Championship.
