The Southridge Spartans refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against MPI, recording a 12-2 victory on Friday at Lakes by the Bay Park.
The game was decided quickly as the Southridge Spartans exerted their will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Jamar Fairweather in the first inning, an RBI single by Charles Kavalir, an RBI single by Henry Wallen, and an RBI single by Jamar during the second inning helped the Southridge Spartans put some runs on the board early.Henry racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Southridge Spartans.
The Southridge Spartans built upon their lead with five runs in the third. Henry singled, bringing home Brandon Cabrera and Joshua Sherwood to start the inning. That was followed up by Joshua Salandy's three-run blast, scoring Charles and Henry.
