The win was The BlackHawks second Super NIT win this season. Ryan Cabarcas pitched a shutout in the Championship Game and outstanding pitching from Rolando Leyva, Chris Lopez, Austin Quinones, and Max Baldaccini to get them to the final game.

 Lewis Menendez, Adrian  Rojas, Santiago Garavito, Justin Rauch, Luis Diaz, Edgar Quintana and Julian Gonzalez all powered the offense by putting up 43 runs.
