Pembroke Pines, FL. A few surprises in the younger divisions but not one bigger than the Boca Hitmen 11U defeating the Treasure Coast Wildcats. What a difference a season makes....I recall the conversation last season with Steve Benson the Manager of the Boca Hitmen in regard to the TC Wildcats and in a nutshell the conversation was about the Wildcats being a Major team playing in the AAA division. This same issue was brought up by another team in the league and my reasoning is the lack of Major teams in the north end of our league........but take nothing away from what the Hitmen was able to accomplish,  they lost to them last season and took it on the shin, this season it was the Hitmen giving it back in a tight contest where  Boca Hitmen came out victorious in a 5-3 contest.  In a bit of a shock not because I thought the 9u Cowboys were going to win the division, but on how well the Wellington Colts played against two of the better teams in the Broward Bombers and the CC Cowboys....the Colts won this game against the Cowboys going away and that was surprising to me......that says a lot of these COLTS !!

The 10u Miami Outlaws defeated the PL Bulldogs in their  Championship Game 11-3 coming off a win against the SF Hitmen and on the side of the bracket the Bulldogs upset the Miramar Canes in their semifinal game. Also, in the 10u AA Coconut Creek Hawks beat the Young Guns 6-2 to capture their first FPBL crown.
The 11u Cooper City Cowboys fought off in extra Innings a pesky Coconut Creek Hawks 8-7 to win their crown, the Hawks are a well Coach team under Tito Hernandez...great game and sportsmanship on both sides.

The 11u Majors Division had Panama Mutiny returned once again as league Champion by defeating the Ridge Rats 5-0. The Mutiny were Champions last year as a 10u team, but lots last season to the Storm.

The 12u AA Division had the MadDags beating the Sunrise Sharks 10-5 to capture their first FPBL Title. Over in the 12u AAA Division probably one of the more competitive divisions we had the SF Hitmen just edge out the Cs Seadogs 12-11 The Seadogs came off an Impressive win over the Miami Predators and the Hitmen beat a tough Ft Lauderdale Lightning team.
