This coming Sunday the Final games for the League Championship will be played in divisions that were rained out two weeks ago. The following Championship Games will be played; 16u Open, 13u 54-80, 12u AA and 10u Open.

This past week Monday the 14u Division Championship was decided when the Weston Hawks Red defeated the Hollywood Heat in a very close game.The Hawks pitchers threw 5 innings of shutout baseball and with some timely hits defeated the Hollywood Heat 4 to 2 to win the Florida Premier Baseball League Championship. This is the 2nd tournament win in a row for the Hawks as they won the USSSA Bulldog Brawl earlier in the month.

In a pitchers duel the West Pines Cobras 10u defeated the PLO Bulldogs 1-0 when an errant throw to third base by the catcher went to left field allowing Jason Wachs to scored the only run of the game. The Cobras will now face the South Florida Inferno for the Championship Game.

In the 12u AA Division the Hollywood Heat defeated a talented Weston Hawks Black team 7-3 and will now face the winner of the Weston Hawks Red and West Broward Baseball game for the League Championship Game.

The 16 under will have four teams battling this coming Sunday. Morel Dragon's returns to defend their League Championship when they take on the Sunrise Sharks and on the other side of the bracket the Port St. Lucie Mets will take on Mo Steel with the winners advancing to the Championship Game.
