Our first event with TbS/Nations baseball kicked off on Wednesday without a hitch. Although, it was not as easy as it sounds, but in Tamiami not even a 100% chance of rain can stop them from having this event. According to Tournament Director Humberto Bencomo it took 50 bags of quick dry to get the fields ready and ready they were, they sure did. The last scheduled game went off a bit late from their regular scheduled 6:00pm starting time to an actual 6:15pm start time, not bad at all.

It's all in a a days work said Humberto, these guys look forward to this event as much as the kids playing in it says Humberto, this is their day to shine and when it is all ready to play is like hitting a grand slam !

It is fun watching them in action. The staff will again get challenged this weekend as there is rain in the forecast, but I know that they will be ready for it.
