In the first two rounds two former FPBL players were chosen. CJ Chatham played HS at Nova High and was a teammate of Zack Collins with the Elite Squad a team that won a National Championship. A few more players from that Squad are expected to be drafted later, in today's round. Already from that team there are two current Minor leaguers playing, that were drafted out of HS back in 2013. Luis Guillorme was drafted by the New York Mets in the 10th round and Brandon Diaz also drafted in 2013 by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 8th round.
