The 2017 Fall season was one of the longest season the FPBL has ever had in almost 15 years of existence, but If they were all to be like the ending of the season Championship Games we can do is again !

It was an unbelievable day of baseball, with 11 Division Championship Games to be decided. We had 5 Championship Games go extra Innings and three decided in the last Inning. It had been a tough season and couple of weeks to get all of the Playoff Games in on time to be able to play on Championship Sunday, but as I said the wait was well worth it.

The last game of the day did not disappoint...Davie Elite 11u battled the Top American Prospects for 12 Innings and the ending was spectacular with Davie being the home team and a 1 run lead in the bottom of the 12th Inning, with a runner on second base that would have tied the game and send it to the 13th Inning Davie\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s center fielder Devin Mila made an unbelievable diving catch to end the game and preserve a 6-5 win.

In another exciting extra Inning finish the 12u PL Bulldogs came back to tie the game  at 3-3 in the fith Inning against the South Florida Inferno and in the top of the 7th Inning Pavlos Piperakis sent a fastball over the left field fence and into the bushes to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead at the time. The Inferno battle back to put a runner on second with one, but Coach Mark Groeneveld went to his star with the bat to do it with his arm as he called in Pavlos Piperakis to save the game and again Piperrakis did not disappoint as he would strike out the next two batters to hold off the Inferno and give the PL Bulldogs back-to-back FPBL Championships.

The 13u South Florida Wolfpack and PPO Predators Black also went toe-to-toe for 9 Innings with the Wolfpack winning it 9-8 this game lasted over 3 hours....another fantastic game.

In a battle in the 10u Open Division the PL Bulldogs White survived an early 8-2 deficit and roared back to tie the game at 9-9 and send it to extra Innings against the well Coached and discipline Boca Ballers team. The two teams fought off each other by scoring 3 runs in the 7th Inning but in the the Bulldogs captured the FPBL Championship with a 13-12 win over the Boca Ballers.

Also, in our HS Division the Mutiny Legends won their 8th FPBL League Championship the most by anyone team to ever played in Premier....Congrats !!
