8U Wellington Warriors cruises by the Miramar All-stars..............Reddogs and Warriors loose their first game of the season
The Wellington Warriors are well on their way to capturing their first division title and could possibly walk away with their first FPBL title as well. The Warriors looked unbeatable yesterday against Miramar as they beat the Miramar All-stars in a kid pitched game and a coach pitched game too. They are solid says Coach Palmer, we experienced what a lot of the 8U teams are saying about the Warriors.
The Warriors picked to be in the finals against the Pines All-stars Improve to 13-1 and their only loss coming to the hands of the Pines Stars, they split their double header early in the season.
In other news the Broward Reddogs lost for the first time this season to the Broward Scorpions/Miami Cyclones 6-1 but bounced back to shut out the Scorpions in the second game 7-0 in other action in the 11u Majors while Dynasty cruises past the Panthers the 11U Weston Hawks Red take two from the ML Bombers.
The 12U Margate Titans Improve to a division best 12-2 mark with a tight win against the SF Lions 3-2. The 14U Boca Starz east remain undefeated in the 14u South Division with a doubleheader win against the Davie Broncos, the Starz Improve to 9-0 while in the North the Wellington Warriors went down to the CS Diamonds 8-4 to suffer their first lost of the season.The Diamonds Improve to 7-3-1 while to Warriors drop to 5-1-1.
The 16u has the Weston Eagles on top, after taking care of business against the Miramar Pirates 15-4 and Plantation Stars 15-4. The Eagles are 7-2 this season.
