League to look Into breaking-up a tie game.....................too many tied games this season

We're out of time. Do you want to Flip for it ?

The League will look into how we can solve the rash of reported tied games that we have had this season. Baseball is one of those sports where a tie doesn't happen at least in the Major Leagues, but because of kids playing baseball during the week and having to go to school the next day we don't play extra innings to break up a tie game.

This spring season over 40 league games have recorded a tie and that is simply too many games, although it tells us that the Majors & AAA Divisions is really working out, ties should NOT exist in our sport.

Here are some suggestions by Coaches that are upset about not being able to break-up a tie game.

1)  Load the bases with one out and play one extra inning. Last  three recorded outs go out to the bases.

2) If you're playing that team again, then when you play them the second time, start the game, with the bases loaded. Same format, if a player that was at the game  does not show up, the substitute player will take the spot of the last recorded out. In other words a new player cannot take the place of a player coming to bat unless he was at the original game. The player not at this game, his turn to bat would be skipped without a penalty.

3) If  the game is being played on the weekend, then play out the game under the same format until the tie is broken.

4) Last but not least and this will take a big man to decide............Flip a coin winner take all. Hey, girls do it and they can take it, can we?

These are some of the comments and suggestions that I have heard, feel free to email me your suggestions.
