D-Ball Baseball came out swinging into the playoffs pounding 15 runs against the Broward Mets. The top of the second Inning was very telling what was to come from D-Ball, Chris Pannell lead off with a base hit, followed by left fielder  Alec Dowell single up the middle, a walk and a hit batter would give D-Ball their first run of game but, the big blow came from Ryan Morse, a grand slam that cleared the right center field fence in a hurry, to put D-Ball up 5-0 in the second Inning. D-Ball would score 6 more runs in the top of the 3rd inning on a couple of base hits and a walk and two hit batters. The Mets rallied in 4th Inning but were only able to score 3 runs and would end up loosing 15-4

The other semifinal game had the Pasadena Panthers playing against the Seminole Pride. Both teams battle and fought hard until the end. This was a bit of a sloppy game with both teams making a few errors on the field that lead to big Innings, but in the end the Seminole Pride was a bit stronger and came out on top 6-3. The Seminole Pride will now face the power hitting of D-Ball tomorrow at 1:00 PM at Archbishop Mc Carthy's School.

The South Florida Elite Squad pitcher Patrick Grady pitched 5 strong Innings striking out 6 Wildcats and going 2-3 with a triple an RBI and two runs scored, Michael Carballo went 2-2 with a three run HR and a single. The Wildcats bats were kept silent by Grady allowing just  two base hits.

The other semifinal game had the Angels playing the Clewiston Gamecocks and what a game it was. This game was a battle from the get-go with the Gamecocks striking first scoring three runs in the first Inning when Andres Rios lead off the game with a base hit and Isandro Marquez would also drive the ball to the left side for a hit, then a hard ground ball to right side by the catcher Reinaldo Rojas would move the runners over with one out, with two runners in scoring position  short stop Coleman Sample drove the ball to left field for two RBI base hit and give Clewiston a 2-0 lead, but the Gamecocks didn't stop there, Miguel Romero drove the ball in the gap for a double and give Clewiston a 3-0 lead in the first Inning.

The Angels winners of their Division where not about to give up, they too came out swinging scoring 3 runs in their half of the first,  a base hit by catcher Luis Quesada, followed by Batista's hit and another base hit by Quiles would give the Angels their first run, but with runners on second & third, a two out double by Marcos Gonzalez tied the game at 3-3. The Gamecocks would score 3 more runs in the next two Innings to take a 6-4 lead into the last inning (6) because of the time limit, but a costly mistake by the Gamecocks right fielder when a ball that seemed to be called by him, dropped between the two, the right fielder and center fielder. With two outs and 1-2 count the Angels, Marco Gonzalez hit a towering shot, that cleared the right field fence to tie the game at 6-6. The game would go into the 7th inning where Clewiston would score two runs and pitcher Isandro Marquez who pitched the entire game would hold the Angels to give the Gamecocks an 8-6 win and will now face the South Florida Elite Squad at 3:30PM for the Championship Game in the Varsity Division
