14U Wellington Warriors & 10U Nike Cobras to get a taste of REAL Tournament Ball
First ever event was held in 2004 with only 16 teams.
The Wellington Warriors received an Invitation to the Elite 24 World Series last week and today along with the 10U Nike Cobras and the 14U South Florida Snappers will begin on a journey to the best tournament that they will ever play when it comes to the competition in Youth Baseball.................nothing comes close to this event, you can take Cooperstown over this event on experience, memories and you will remember it for how much fun Cooperstown was, but when it comes to the competition. You can play AAU Nationals, Triple Crown Events,Cal Ripken Experience and many other affiliations out there that do a terrific job on their events but when it comes to the competition................It's hard to top the USSSA Elite 24 World Series.
This tournament has 24 of the best teams in the country and to get there you have to win a qulifier for this event. The Nike Cobras traveled to Michigan and won their Super NIT the Warriors runner-up to the Weston Hawks in the league received an invitation last week after the Hawks had committed to play in AAU Nationals. The Hawks won the local AABC league championship, but bypass the opportunity to goto the AABC World Series for AAU Nationals.
The Warriors, Nike Cobras will face an uphill battle in this event because of where they rank with USSSA. The USSSA Elite 24 Tournament seeds teams base on a point system and the Nike Cobras are 22nd of the 24 teams, Wellington is 16th and what that translate to is the tougher teams to get through to reach the ultimate goal........................and that is win it all!
Good Luck to all Involved !!
