Let's look at the 8's, 9's and 10's and let's see who is going to emerge as Vinnie's Top Dawg this season.

Being a Vinnie Top Dawg is quite an honor....................says Coach Eddy, from the Pirates, although Eddy is not playing here this season. Eddy remembers, when Vinnie at the time NOT the Predictor chose his team to win the 16U division and sure enough Vinnie was right !...........Eddy recalls the call from Vinnie and says, Oh boy what a vision ! how can he see what nobody else sees, that's Vinnie says Johnny another pal from the team.

While Eddy wont be with us this season he will return in the Summer. Eddy will concentrate in his son that will be a freshman this season. We wish Eddy good luck in High School this year.


While the teams are all new in the league a returning Coach may have the edge on the rest. Hialeah Crush Coach, Albert Rodriguez won this age class last year and now he returns with a new group but little one is there Albert Jr. will lead this team to his first FPBL title.............according to Vinnie.

8 Under Division:

1. Hialeah Crush
2. PPO Bengals.................2nd season team and should be stronger.
3. Wellinton Warriors

Wild Card..............Dade Panthers

 9 Under Division

This group is stacked with the best 16 teams 9u teams in South Florida. Last season Champion, Wellington Warriors will have a hard time repeating this season, although they are one of the top four teams in this group, there are too many talented teams in this league for them to repeat.This season 10 new teams joined this age group making it one of the toughest division in the league.

1. Bears............Newcomer to the league, but stacked with players and always looking to Improve the roster.
   
2. South Florida Extreme...........Lots of  '07 players from the 8u League Champions Hialeah Crush on this team, will be tough to beat.
3. Wellington Warriors...........With some of the best talent assemble on one team, but in a tough division, will not repeat this season.
4. West Pines Cobras......... Lots of talented players up the middle on this team, the problem will be pitching.

Wild Card Teams: 
Team Renteria.........Great pitching, but not many sticks
Miramar Canes........Will surprise teams this season and may sneak in the Final                                   Four. Lost a key player that would have put this team
                                among the Elite in this class.
Pembroke Lakes...... Could surprise a lot of teams in this group.
Okeeheelee Canes.... Big boys on this club, we will have to see how they adapt
                                 in this league. First year team in the FPBL.

10Under Division

The last couple of seasons it has come down to the two power house of the Bulldogs and the Cobras and although there a few  new teams in the league Including the 9U AAU Semi finalist in the RPB Piranaz who played in the TC Division last season, the Road to the Championship still has to go through the Bulldogs last season Champion, with  back-to-back titles.

1. PL Bulldogs.................A knack for big games.
2. West Pines Cobras.......Right there with the Bulldogs, but lost some
                                        quality players this season.
3. Hialeah Tigers..............An Up & coming team that has beaten the
                                       Bulldogs & Cobras before, wouldn't be a
                                       surprise to see them win it all.
4. Wellington....................If they can get past the Bulldogs, look out!

Wild Card Teams

Parkland Pokers............Last year had strong game in the playoffs and lost a
                                     close game against the Bulldogs, can play with the best.
CS Sandlot....................One of these days they will put it all together. Is it this
                                      year? Vinnie doesn't think so.
West Boca Panthers........They can flat out hit, but pitching and D is  the name                                         of  the game.
Miramar Canes................Long shot. Has gone through too many changes in a
                                        such a short time.
