After a tough season for the Big Boys last season, they're all back and have re-tooled their teams. Many have upgraded (in their minds) others are going about it as If all they want is  peace of mind with parents and their super star players.

The much awaited returned of the 11U West Pines "Nike" Cobras to the plateau they once held so hi, it's expected of them this season. They were on a roll last season and since being in the league, they were in what seem to be a shoe in breaking the Five consecutive League Championships won by the Broward Canes from '03-'05 only Hurricane Wilma derailed the Canes that year from their 6th consecutive league title.............Nike too, was on their way, winning three in a row, when the SF Stealth shocked them last season in the second round of the playoffs..........Nike has yet to recover. This  Summer they went to Cooperstown and lost in the Sweet 16 and then had a great run at the USSSA Elite 24 where they lost 6-4 to the eventual Champions, Bandito Black from Texas. Now, the league starts back up again and who do they open up against?...............yes, that's right the SF Stealth the same team that knocked them out, so an Interesting start in the league this season for the Cobras.

Last season Champion, Dania Thunder will be competitive, but lost a quality arm and it will be tough without him.

11U Division Majors

1. Nike Cobras..............Regains the swagger, but it won't be easy.
2. Miramar Canes.......... A much Improved team from last season, with a  few players from the Cobras on this roster.
3. Pro Ball Cobras.......... A solid team, well Coach, but will find out how tough this league really is..... and his division.
4. South Florida Bombers......A Highly Competitive team, in a vey tough division, but on any day can play with the best.

Wild Card Teams

South Florida Stealth...........Last season runner-up in a tough division. Top 5 team, not sure if they can come out there as a top 4 team
PPO Bengals...... much Improved team and could very well surprise some of the top teams.
Plantation Stars.....Last season AAA Champion on a bigger stage this season, will do well, but not as good as last season.

11U AAA Teams

1. Miami Chiefs.................Going on a blind pick here
2. Tamarac Titans............. Will battle with SF Predators
3. SF Predators............... Last season AAA Runner-up good club, could win it all this season.

This next division is the toughest of all the divisions in the league and picking the winner, its going to be tougher than to tell Vinnie to shut-up. The last couple of seasons we have had, the Panthers, Dynasty and Cobras win this group title, and last season the 12u AAA Margate Titans won the AAA Championship and had 6 roll back players and they're staying down, but now add the PL Bulldogs, Boca Starz, CS All Americans that just came back to the league and throw in there the West Boyton Tornados, the WB Panthers Black, the much Improve Miramar Canes and the scrappy never say die PPO Bengals and you have the who's who?  in the 12U division in South Florida playing here. So, Vinnie who do you pick ?


12Under Majors Division

1. Dynasty Elite........Last season runner-up will battle the Panthers again in the finals, but will come up on top this time. The only problem that they may run into is tiredness at seasons end, because possibly too many games.
2. Panther Baseball..... Could take care of business again, but a tough road ahead to repeat, in this division teams see to take turns in winning division titles.
3. West Boyton Tornados....Could very well be a force, if he picks- up another arm.
4. West Pines Cobras...............Lost players and Coaches and it will take more than a season to get it together again.

Wild Card Teams

Miramar Canes.......New Coaching Staff + New Players = Success !!
West Boca Panthers Black..........Will compete and could surprise a few teams.
PPO Bengals.......... Lots of talent, but in a very tough class.
PL Bulldogs............Everyone says that they are really good......we just don't know yet.

12u AAA Divison

A tough division to rank, because of the number of solid teams, that are all in the same category...................NOT one team that stands out more than the other. So, Vinnie has no clue here and his admitting it..................NOT that he knows what he is doing.

1. Coral Springs Bombers..........Play Majors last season and will try to get back on top again.
   
2. PSN Mudcats......... Had a terrific run last season and are the AAA defending Champions, but lost a few key players this season.
3. Boca Starz East...... A terrific record last season, did not have  a good playoff run.
4. SF Thunder...........Played in the TC Div and won the TC Divison. Should be a tough team to beat in this division, when the full team is in uniform, that may be a problem.

Wild Card Teams

ML Bombers................Played Majors last season will be a force in this group
Broward Blaze..............Runner-up last season in the AAA Division, he too lost key players.
Broward Jaguars...........They continue to Improve and soon will take a bite out of a big dawg!



This division may turn out to be the ones that we will talk about it at the end of the season.............why ? you ask. There is not a dominant team in the this group, but what we have is a lot of quality teams. You have to take in consideration last season runner-up in the league and In Cooperstown Dreams park Tournament Miramar Canes. The Sandlot is back this season, after playing a limited schedule last seson in the TC Div, they will give teams a hard time and newcomer to the league the Sf Scorpions a team that last season played in the other league has stepped it up to play in this league and they too should be a force to be dealt with.

The West Boca Panthers last season made some gigantic strides and played everyone tough, the Panthers lost a close one to the Reddogs  in the
playoffs..........so who will take it? Vinnie doesn't have a clue but will make his pick.

1. CS Sandlot................Gut feeling says Vinnie ! Has been together a long time with most of kids.
2. SF Scorpions............The change of scenery will give this team more pub and will show how talenteted they are.
3. Miramar Canes.........This season will be a season to adjust to changes on and off the field.
4. West Boca Panthers......With the right situation in the playoffs, this team can take it.

Wild Card Teams

Margate Titans...........Some players are staying down, but will still make some head turn. Good looking team.
FT Wahoos.............A couple of seasons ago they were on the way up ,and then  struggle a bit, but now look out, they will come out of the National as one of the top 4 teams.
West Pines Cobras......Much Improve team with second season Coach George Hernandez, but in a tough division. Could surprise Vinnie



This Division will have two big horses and then the rest of the pack. Returning to the group will be the CS Diamonds, last season the Diamonds played up and faced a tough group in the 14u, but now they will come back to their true division where they will battle against a lot of team that they may remember all that well, but they will when they play them. The SF Extreme Coached by Mike White has put together a team of some of his players from the PPO Bengals the team that won  36 straight games and several league titles Including a 20-0 season and a wire-wire Championship title, but could he shake off the Ghost of Cooper City...............the Cowboys last season runner-up, they have given the Bengals and Coach White fits the last few seasons, well maybe the name change will help. Now, what do you with last season champion Plantation Stars, can they do it again...................it will take a tremendous effort in part of the Stars to do it in this group, they are just tough top to bottom. Will we have the West Boca Panthers surprise anyone?  and what about the Pasadena Panthers a team that plays quitely, but steady ball! can they surprise Vinnie?...............well the season will get underway today and before we know it, will be over and  we will find out.

14 Under Division

1. CS Diamonds...............Steady team with lots of talent and a great addition of a player over the summer.
2. SF Extreme................Lots of talent, but can they play together?
3. Plantation Stars...........Won it all last season, but it will tough to repeat.
4. West Pines Cobras......New Coach, New attitude  = Success !!!

Cooper City Cowboys...................All things have to fall in the right places
Miramar Maddogs........................Can't seem to get over the hump........will this be the year?
Broward Scorpions......................Will they rise to the top again ?
Boca Starz.................................Well Coached team, but do they have the horses. Lost a key player this season
