The Miramar Canes fought back in the first game after being down 8-2 in their last at bat to defeat a very good CS Sandlot team. The Canes rallied from 6 runs down to score 10 runs with timely hitting and smart base running. Lots of key hits in the game, by Kevin Rodriguez, Jake Frew, Al Ortiz and Jonathan Diaz and a two run triple by Brandon Collins who's bat has been fire.  Lefty pitcher Lucas Santana pitched two scoreless Innings in relief.

The second game was a close game where the Sandlot tied the game at 2-2 and would eventually go up 4-3, but the bats of the Canes came alive again and with the bases loaded Jonathan Diaz blasted a shot between the left & center fielder that went all the way to the fence for Grand Slam. The Canes pounded the ball all day long. Again key hits by Kevin Rodriguez, Jordan Mercado, Jake Frew, Tres Taliafero, Nick Rosenthal and outstanding relief work by Tres Taliaferon in his two Innings of work. Canes Improve to 3-0 in the season. The Sandlot fall to 0-2-1
