The West Boynton Wolverines 13U out-dueled the Miramar Canes 3-2 in the 13U
Championship Game at the USSSA Columbus Day Shootout on Saturday.

In the first-time ever battle between the two Cooperstown Dreams Park
Championship Game finalists from this past summer's weeks, the Wolverines
broke a 2-2 tie in the 7th and held on for the win in a pitchers' duel
between the teams, playing 60/90 dimensions in the 13U division.  Both
teams had scoring opportunities throughout the game, but great defensive
plays kept it close.
