The Wellington Warriors-Gold team came down to Miramar to face the Canes and the Bears in a three team round robin. The Bears and Canes are two teams that are up on top of the 9U American Division. After it was all over the Warriors-Gold handed the Miramar Canes their 8th loss of the season and took a close game against the Division leaders Bears in a 9-7 contest, Improving the Warriors-Gold record to 14-2 and on top of the 9u National Division.

The Miramar Canes bounced back in the second game by defeating the Bears 11-3  as Canes lefty Pitcher Nick Rosenthal pitched a gem of a game.

In other action in the 9u Division the South Florida Extreme continues to climb to the top as they win another close game against the West Pines Cobras 5-4.

The Extreme will face the Bears this coming Tuesday in another key macth in the playoff hunt for the Majors Division. The top 4 teams from the American and 4 from the National will advance to the majors while the rest of the teams will go on to the AAA Playoffs.
