The USSSA Rankings is a system that ranks teams based on their USSSA Sanctioned tournaments performance. This system is used to seed teams  when they travel to USSSA World Series Events, the higher the number of points you have the higher you will seed when you play in these types of events, so playing a USSSA Event is essential not only for the competition, but If you have plans to play in a World Series Tournament in the summer, this would very helpful in determining whether you play a top team or middle of the pack in the pool games.

The USSSA Super NIT Event taking place in SOUTH Florida in 09 is contemplating in using the USSSA Power Ranking System to determine who you will play against in your first seeding game. So, Is it Important ? well you decide.
