I once read this on the back of the parents T-shirts on the Hialeah Crush team that read, We Eat, Breath and Live.....BASEBALL !!! and if you have not seen them play, you should.

These two teams have kids on their teams that are 6 & 7 year olds, play in two leagues (HAA & FPBL) kids on their teams play against each during the week and on Saturday's, and after their In-house  games they all gather the troops and come out and play in the FPBL and it doesn't matter where and the time..............as one coach said to me before the playoffs, we don't care the time and the place we Just Want to Play !

Well, after shuffling the schedule to accommodate these two teams in the 5-team double elimination playoff games we were able to get them to play their Saturday Games.......................and I mean games.

The first game was played at 9:00AM and yes it was the Crush vs Giants and it usually is a hard fought game between these two, and in this morning's game the Giants edged out the Crush 4-3...............but don't count the Crush out as they have fought their way back and will go against the tough Weston Hawks team this morning with the winner facing the Giants in the 8u Championship Game.

In other games played on Saturday.............more of the same and that's spectacular baseball being played !! and this held true 'til the very last game when the 11u Wellington Warriors and the SF Stealth got the last game of the day played which ended at approximate 11:00PM  with the Stealth winning 8-5 after trailing most of the game, this after Wellington and the TPX Titans fought a hard game where Wellington went 8 innings to defeat the Titans in two International tie-breaker Innings.

Here are some notes of yesterday's games.

The 9u PL Bulldogs won their first League Championhsip by defeating the CS Sandlot and the 10u Sandlot beat the West Boca Panthes to capture their first 10u AAA Division Championship.........Congratulations to all !!

9u Wellington Warriors roars back after losing first game against the SF Extreme...........they will need to beat them twice to win it all.

10u PL Bulldogs are in the same boat as they would lose the first game to Wellington and after befeating the Canes & Piranaz must beat the Warriors
twice.
11u Nike Cobras is in the drivers seast after defeatig the Stealth 7-5 will see the Stealth again with the Stealth having to beat Nike twice to win the title.

11u AAA: The Pirahnas have climbed to the top where, they will face the Titans or Predators

12u Dynasty Elite is also in the drivers seat as they await the Cobras this morning, Dynasty defeated the Cobras 6-3 yesterday, the Cobras must take two from Dynasty today in order to win it.

12U AAA The SF Thunder are facing the ML Bombers, the Bombers defeated in a close match the Boca Thunder 7-3

13u SF Scorpions has cruised past everybody and now must face the Margate Titans who shocked the Canes. The Titans will have to beat the Scorpions twice

13u AAA The two Wildcats will see each other again with CS Wildcats yet to lose,so they too will have to be beaten twice.
14u Mambises will see the Elite. The Mambises have yet to lose.

14u AAA Division The West Boca Panthers will go against the Weston Hawks in a battle of the two # 1 seed teams, the panthers defeated the Hawks 11-7 with help from Michael Barash
