The USSSA Wood Bat tournament is heating up despite the cold weather. The 11u Miami Playmakers came back and score on errant throw from the catcher late in the game to tie the game at 2-2 against the Nike Cobras. The Bears score 6 runs in the fourth Inning to come from behind and defeat the West Boyton Thunder, the Thunder scored 3 in their last at bat but fell short 10-8. The PL Bulldogs were impressive today as they pounded the ball scoring 14 runs against a tough CS Sandlot team. In PPO the West Pines Cobras bats exploded against Okeeheelee Canes in a 10-1 victory.
13u Broward Reddogs show their muscle in a 6-0 win over Rattlers, Canes and Miami Curve duel it out in 1-0 Canes victory. The SF Scorpions bounce back in a 15-4 win over the Florida Sun and the Driftwood Wildcats beat the Hawks 7-4.

TC Division 2008 11u League Champion lost their first game against the Miami Playmakers.
