The West Pines 12 Cobras got back to their winning ways and defeated the Broward Scorpions 6 to 0. Ex Scorpion, Chucky Lopez, faced his old team for the first time, pitching 4 shutout innings and driving in 2 runs with his bat. Chris Khawly finished the game pitching 2 scoreless innings. The whole Cobra team finally showed up and played the best game of the season, so far. Although the Cobras were off to a 1 and 4 start, only 1 game was won by more than 1 run. The pitching staff has been the key so far. As soon as the bats wake up….. Watch out!
