After a bit of rain on Tuesday playoff games got under way last night and some really close games were played. USSSA Super NIT participant 11u Pro Ball Cobras continued their good play with a 2-0 win over the Miramar Canes. The Pro Ball Cobras have accepted a berth to participate in the Elite 32 World Series in July-August. The Cobras earned their berth by virtue of the passed down berth after they finished in 4th place of 18 teams. In other tight games the 13u Cooper City Cowboys edged the NB Thunder 6-5 while the 9u TPX Titans squeezed past the Hammerheads in a 5-4 game while the the 11u SF Bombers defeated the Stars 3-2.

Other playoff game winners were the 12u Rattlers over the Jaguars, 11u Grasshoppers defeated the Broncos, 12u PPO Bengals got past the Hawks and the 12u Boca Thunder beat the Weston Hawks Red.

Playoff games will continue throughout the week & weekend to eventually end up with the Final Four teams coming to Pembroke Shores Park & Silver Lakes Park and crown the '09 Spring Season Champion.
