Another thrilling night of playoff baseball in the FPBL.........# 1 seed falls

In the tough 12u Majors division it's anybody's title. It seems that from season to season teams take turns on winning the title and this season is no different. Last season Champion West Pines Cobras went down against a pesky Miramar Canes team in a 4-1 affair, while for the second consecutive season the Boca Starz suffered a tough one to swallow as they lost to the CS All-Americans 2-1 The Starz going in as the # 1 seed could not overcome the CS All-Americans Devin Meyer who went the distance.

The win by the CS All-Americans throws a spin on the brackets now, being that the higher seed in that bracket is eliminated the next match for the All-Americans will have to wait to see what happens in the Panthers vs WB Panthers-Black. The bracket is set up so that after the first round the TOP two seeds move on and since the # 1 seed was eliminated, the game with the Panthers & WB Panthers-Black will decide who moves on to the Final Four and who will the CS All-Americans will see in round two.

Here are some game results from last night.
