The West Pines Cobras had to go through a tough Pembroke Lakes team in the elite 16 to advance, the Cobras defeated their league rival 4-2 and then would beat the Long Island Breakers 11-8 to get to the semifinal where they faced another tough opponent in the Beaver Valley Red (PA) the number # 2 seed in the tournament. The Cobras squeezed past Beaver Valley Red 7-6 to reach the Championship Game against the # 20 seed Motor City Hit Dogs(MI) a game that they would win 7-6 to capture the Cooperstown Championsip.

The West Pines Cobras become the first FPBL team to capture Cooperstown Championship since the Broward Bulldogs did it 3 years ago. Last year the TC Division West Boyton Wolverines won it.
