The Broward Scorpions 11U won the first game of the FPBL season over the Weston Hawks Black. Ryan Galvankar delivered an excellent pitching performance with Larry Rodriguez closing the game. The Scorpions were up   5-0 until the bottom of the 4th inning. The Hawks fought back to 5-4 but the Scorpions pitching, defense and hitters would not be denied. In the top of the 5th The Scorpions broke the game wide open with another 5 runs. The entire Scorpions team contributed in an all around team effort.
