No hitter from 9 year old pitcher into the 5th inning on opening day!
Team MVP and the Giants started the fall season with a beautiful night at Walnut Creek. Both teams came ready to play and mother nature allowed for an on time start to the season. Team MVP was able to jump to a 2-0 lead in the first and then it became a pitchers duel. The Giants pitching was clearly off the charts with a great variety of pitches and pitchers. Team MVP left the pitching in the hands of the fist baseman Michael Uz and he rolled all the way to the 5th inning with a perfect game! The Giants rallied in the 5th for 5 runs and made opening day a nail biter and a reminder of how great this game is! Good luck to all on opening day and we hope you have as much fun!
