USSSA Fall Nationals to make a big splash in the Treasure Coast this weekend.
"The CRYSTAL"
The USSSA Fall Nationals comes to the City of Stuart with a field of 65 teams from throughout Central, South and the Treasure Coast area. Wow !! what a field of teams said one of the 12u coaches.............9 of the top 10 USSSA Ranked Teams are coming down this weekend to battle for the "Crystal" and 300 USSSA Points.
Our goal has been to try and get the Central Florida teams to come down and compete against teams from the south and I believe that we're doing so this weekend in most divisions. The 8u has 5 enthusiastic 8 year old teams battling in what it is for them their first Major event. In this group all players will get awards.
Top teams in the 9u as Team Miami, Lakeworth Warriors, Mo Steel Baseball and Orlando Tigers and a few more will battle as well. The 10u division has 10 teams including RPB Piranaz winner of the USSSA TC Preseason Tournament & USSSA Labor Day Bash. Also, in this class the Orlando Panthers, Hitting Baseball Rebels, Team Combat and last season AAA League Champion Parkland Pokers and runner-up West Boynton Thunder.
The 11u Divison has the # 4 & # 5 ranked team in the State with team Combat and Bullet Baseball those two with our own West Pines Nike Cobras and Miami's Gamewear Black and Miami Thunder and add on the PSN Eagles, Hialeah Tigers, Weston Hawks-Black, Colts, Buckeyes, NPB Cardinals and Baseball City USA..............not a bad group of teams considering that there is another event this weekend..................These teams will also be playing for the "Crystal"
Our 13u division is bit interesting, we're only able to get teams from our area due in part because they play 60'-90' in Central Florida and we will play 54'-80' but these teams are no slouch 1o of the top teams in this age group are here, top team from Miami's, the Miami Outlaws, last season Cooperstown Champion West Pines Cobras, USSSA Labor Day Bash Champion Boca Thunder Baseball perennial league contender and past Champion Panthers Baseball, now add the much Improved Weston Hawks-Red, PL Bulldogs last season AAA League Champion Plantation Stars and TC Division Akadema Blaze, Toyota of Stuart and Team Worth................a little bit of what we have in the Treasure Coast and South Florida.
So, if you chose to drive 51/2 hrs up north, pay $ 775.00, stay where they say, skip school and get a key chain for an award...........then you missed out on the "Crystal"
