After coming up on the short end of the stick numerous times, the Tigers finally defeated the Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs by a score of 5-0.

It took some timely hitting and a complete game 4 hit shut out performance from Alek Sierra to seal the victory. In the second inning with the Tigers holding a 2-0 lead the Bulldogs mounted their biggest threat of the game, they opened the inning with a double to right followed by a single to left, now with runners on second and third and no outs, Alek was able to avoid any damage by striking out the next two batters and picking off the runner on third with two outs. I have seen him pitch some good games but last night was his best performance. A total team effort, great win for the Tigers who are in the hunt for first place in the 11U National Division with a division record of 6-0-2. 

The 10u PL Bulldogs continues to excel in league play as they blanked the West Pines Cobras in a division game by the score of 4-0. The Bulldogs Improve to 10-2 and are tied in the 10u International Division with Team Renteria while the Cobras dropped to 3-5
