Canes Playoffs chances slipping away, Colts takes two from Miramar.......... 12u Wellington Colts defeats Stealth
After going 7-3 in the first 10 games of the season and no-hitting the PPO Bengals for the 7th win, the Canes looked to be on its way to the playoffs, but four games later the Canes could be on the outside looking in. The Wellington Colts took a pair of games from the Canes yesterday with a decisive 6-0 in the first game and then held the charging canes in the second game to a 7-6 win. The Canes battled back in the second game after being down 7-0, but fell short losing 7-6 a well played and fun game for both teams. Wellington, Cobras and the Canes are battling for the last playoff spot in the 10u International Division.
As it stands now, with three games left for Wellington & Cobras if they both win two of the three games left, they are both in and the Canes are out.
Good luck to all !!
Also, in the 12u the Wellington Colts fighting for the last spot in the 12u Division need it a doubleheader win against a tough opponent in the SF Stealth and they got it as they edged the Sf Stealth 5-4 and 6-0 also, the 8u Colts took a pair from the US Baseball School..............so a Pony day at Wellington as their teams go 6-0 on Sunday.
