The TPX Titans 10U team battled hard on Sunday to come from behind not in one game but both games. The Titans overcame a 3 run deficient against the very talented Weston Rattlers team with a bases loaded bottom of the 6th 1 out perfectly executed squeeze play by hitter Christian D'Eusanio and runner Logan Fiore to end the game with a score of Titans 6 and Rattlers 5. The second game the Titans fell behind to the Rattlers 4 to 1 in the second and rallied to tie it up in the 3rd only to fall behind by 2 going into the top of the 6th inning. With 2 outs and no runs across the Titans hitters put up 5 runs during the 2 out rally. The defense held strong in the bottom of the 6th to finish Titans 9 Rattlers 6. The pitching staff of Nicholas Vigilante, Cato Sinkus, and Logan Fiore held strong facing a combined 61 hitters delivering 10 strike outs and giving up only 8 walks. The Rattlers put the ball in play 43 times and the stellar Titans defense only committed 2 errors all day and recorded 26 put outs. The offense was lead by Gavin Hendrix who went 3 for 4 with 2 walks, Logan Fiore who went 4 for 6 with an in the park homerun, and TJ Palazzo went 3 for 4 with 2 walks.
