This past weekend FPBL teams traveled to  various USSSA Global World Series Qualifiers and some came back victorious. The 12u D1 Elite team went to the USSSA Showdown War on I-4 and took on Team Clap Bat in the Championship Game and won it 7-4. D1 Elite got to the finals after knocking out the East Cobb Astros, Tampa Bay Bulldogs, MBA Pride. Out west in the West Coast Global Qualifier, Ft Meyers, the Miramar Canes and 11u Tigers took home the hardware as they won in their respective division.

The Canes came from behind in the last inning of the semifinal game to score four runs against the Florida Curve and win it 10-9. The Canes  would defeat Phanton Baseball  in the Championship Game.

The 11u division had teams from various leagues including FPBL,  Nations Baseball, AAU Baseball &  Tamiami teams. The Tigers were victorious as well, the Tigers shut down the the Cape Coral Canes 9-0 and the took on Mizuno Edge and beat them 8-4 in the Championship Game.

The top 4 four teams in their respective division earned a berth to the USSSA Global World Series in Orlando, Florida.
