PIRANAZ 9U Take home the hardware!
Congratulations to the PIRANAZ 9U team for winning the "PIRANAZ USSSA Global World Series Qualifier" held this past weekend. The PIRANAZ had to get past a very tough Weston Hawks RED team in the semi final game and the PIRANAZ came through in a big way, eliminating the Hawks 10-2.
The Championship game put the Florida Pokers up against the PIRANAZ and the PIRANAZ bats came out ready to play once again with a fury of hits right out of the gate for a 5-0 lead after the first inning. The second inning was more of the same as the hard hitting team added 10 more runs. Tyler Retzler pitched for the PIRANAZ and threw a 1 hitter while only facing 9 batters in 3 innings as the PIRANAZ closed the game 16-0 in 3 innings.
A special "THANK YOU" goes out to everyone who participated in this very well run tournament.
