In the Champoinship Game the knights took a 2 run lead in the first inning when Jason Rivera triple brought in Jd and Jaret. Jason also through 4 strong innings allowing only 2 runs on 2 hits. Timely hitting and outstanding defense became the motto throughout the tournament. Sum highlights include 2 Triples by Angel Padron going 5 for 7 with 4 walks, a homerun and a pair of triples for Jason Rivera, Micheal Moreno had 8 RBI's, Jd pitched a complete game allowing only 1 hit, and great pitching from Adrian Parker, Dylan Choi, Justin Ricard, and Micheal Moreno.Johnny Lawson and Victor Diaz combined to play error free baseball with 10+ defensive plays.Chris King also had some timely singles and a couple of stolen bases. Over all it was a total team effort to take home their first Championship. May God Continue to Bless The South Florida Knights 11U.
