On a great day for baseball, the 14U Weston Black Hawks' Jared Andersen pitches a 5 inning, 6 strike out, PERFECT GAME!! His 51 pitches of 34 strikes and 17 balls, supported by an impenetrable defense, delivered the near impossible gem of perfection!

As Jared strode to the mound in the final inning, he was aware that he was possibly pitching the best game of his young baseball career. But, it wasn't until he struck out the final batter of the game and was then overcome by his teammates that he knew he had truly pitched a perfect game!!

Jared has been playing travel baseball with the Weston Hawks since he was 9 years old. We've all seen Jared become a very good pitcher over the years, but until perfection pays you a visit, you truly learn how the joy of baseball can be so special!
