Fall Nationals Championship Weekend was Spectacular ! at least that was the comment shared by many of those that were standing after two days of beautiful weather and some great competition.

The event had a lot of first and it may be of what's to come in the future. We played a Fall National Championship in two days, Saturday & Sunday. We had a "Friday Night Fun Night" for all to participate, and close to 300 people were in attendance.  We had a  Coaches / Parents Softball Game, an 8u Coach Pitch All-Star Game, a Home Run Derby for 9's through 12's  and Utrip TV was on site to web cast the 8u All-Star Game, the 13u games played at Halpatiokee Park and the 12u Championship round at Lakewood Park in Ft. Pierce.

This we have never done and it appears that many that were in attendance were plaeased with not having to rush out of work and play games, the relaxed and fun atmosphere was seen throughout  Sailfish Park.

In many of these events we all rush out of work and take our kids to go play, putting a lot of on pressure to the parents and kids, so doing it this way it seemed the right thing to do this time, we will evaluate all things and determine whether this is how we're going to do the Fall Nationals again next year.
