The Miramar Canes need it a win against the West Pines Cobras in the last day of the regular season to get into the playoffs and they got it in a 5-1 win. Randy Gomez pitched 5 strong  Innings allowing just 1 run. Gomez kept the Cobras off balance mixing his fastball and change up very well. Ubaldo Lopez came in relief in the top of the 6th Inning to retire the side in order and preserve the win for the Canes. The Canes win pushes out the Cooper City Cowboys from the last playoff spot in the 12u Red Pool Division, the Cobras had locked their spot as #3 seed, they finish with a 6-6 record.
