A talented group of former FPBL players were on hand on Saturday to throw out the first pitch prior to the start of elimination round in the USSSA FPS World Series.

Manny Machado was greeted by many kids for autographs and he gladly signed as many as they want it. Machado remembers his days at this park, he tells me......wow, look at all of the fields you have. I remember when it was just three fields and it was run-rabbit run.  Machado was chosen by the Baltimore Orioles as the third pick in this year's Major League Draft. Machado was joined by his teammates while a member of the FPBL. Cory Jansen a UM freshman, USF Michael Carballo, Troy Anbros Anderson University and Tyler Palmer a freshman at UF all joined Machado to throw out the first pitch. It was a treat not only for the kids, but for me as well, seeing these kids go this far and continue to do what they love, it's truly "PRICELESS".
